Going big time
Here is a news segment produced by and broadcast from a CBS affiliate in Pennsylvania. It is a relatively hard hitting piece about trauma from dog attacks. They did not point the finger at any individual dog breed(s), probably to avoid provoking the usual bunch of hard-core crazies. That said, I am glad that the topic is now in the wider public forum, and not limited to a handful of low-traffic internet sites.
Should be interesting to see the reaction.

they did not say the words PIT BULL but every vicious beast lunging, barking, growling, and slavering on the other side of a fence was an ugly mutant.

Yes, even if they don't actually SAY its a pit bull 80-90% of the time, its still pretty obvious.

DeleteYes! It is a bit cowardly, but at least they are getting the word out, even if they are not actually speaking the words themselves.
Shh, we all know pit bulls can't be identified unless something good is being said about them.
DeleteIt's the Labs doing it. Labs and boxer mixes, all of them. Misunderstood pit bulls are being framed for their crimes everywhere.

Of course both segments had a hole the size of a galaxy-the topic of BREED. The 30 year rise in fatalities and severe, life altering injuries has a direct correlation with pit bulls becoming common as pet animals. There is no RIGHT to own a dog at all and people shouldn't be permitted to own FIGHTING BREED dogs anymore than tigers or bears.
