Flying the Dog Friendly Skies!

Listen up good, peons!  Fido's right to fly exceeds yours!  Suck it, proles!

A woman was dragged off a Los Angeles-bound Southwest Airlines flight Tuesday after telling crew members she had a life-threatening pet allergy. There were two dogs aboard.
“Everything was very quiet up until a decision was made that this woman would have to be physically removed from the plane,” said Bill Dumas, who provided video of the incident to KTLA. “She just put up a lot of resistance and was adamant about not being taken off the plane.”
In a statement, Southwest said... any passenger without a medical certificate may be denied boarding if he or she reports a life-threatening allergic reaction and cannot travel safely with an animal on board. The passenger was unable to provide a medical certificate, the airline stated.

Get your ass off that plane, you two legged hooligan!   How dare you be allergic to DOG!

Here is the video:

Flying just keeps becoming more and more ridiculous.  Perhaps soon, humans won't be allowed to fly at all?

The comments on YouTube are absolutely priceless.  Consider such priceless gems such as "stop acting like a privileged bitch! follow the instructions and get your ass off the plane. why does everyone think they're entitled to some special treatment these days?"   I suppose that is due to the fact that some people cling to the antiquated notion that human rights exceed dog rights?  What right does someone have to bring a dog on to a plane, anyway?  Oh, I'm sure it was some sort of "comfort animal" (i.e. pet) the dog worshipper could not do without.

Have a great evening, everybody!

  1. Obviously, we need to start a new religion. If an Orthodox Jew can refuse to sit by a woman on a plane, the rest of us should be able to refuse to sit by a DOG. https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/ultra-orthodox-jews-increasingly-refuse-to-sit-near-women-on-el-al-flights-1.420298

  2. Don't get me started on those so-called comfort animals. Whenever I see somebody with one of those, I feel like telling them to grow the fuck up.

Yeesh. If you're a chronological adult, you should be able to deal with life without carrying a stuffed animal wherever you go. Or, for that matter, a live one.

  3. If they're going to require people to show medical proof of allergies then the imbeciles who feel they MUST drag their shitty dogs with them should have to show proof they could DIE if they're not allowed to drag their mutt on the plane. Since there is no medical condition that would cause a person to DIE for lack of having their pet with them there is NO reason they should be permitted to drag their mutt on the plane to start with.

    1. Ya Know, that is one excellent point: The current regime does not require that the dog owner prove their "condition", so why does anyone else have to do so? CANINE SUPREMACY

  4. Permit me to share a ray of hope. On a recent trip to Home Depot, I spotted a big "no pets" sign on the door. This was at the El Con store in Tucson.

In downtown Tucson, there's a similar sign, with added verbiage that explains what a service animal really is. This sign is at the Supercuts on Congress Street.

Both of these establishments are to be commended. Please patronize them.

    1. Yes, I've seen these too. A good start but in reality the entire ADA should be revised so that the only REAL service animals are guide dogs for the blind and the only other use for service dogs should be for people with PHYSICAL disabilities, and these should be tested and approved on a case by case basis only, with BREED restrictions.

In reply to Ka D, I live in the UK, where shops are increasingly putting up signs allowing 'assistance dogs' in. Unfortunately the definition of what constitutes an assistance dog gets wider by the day.

I can understand guide dogs for totally (rather than partially-sighted) blind people (which soon will be superseded by robots, hopefully) but these are the only dogs that should be allowed into stores. One of my pet bugbears is 'dogs for the deaf'.

Most deaf people manage without one, leading me to believe that 'dogs for deaf dog lovers' would be a more appropriate definition. They are supposedly useful for alerting an owner to the doorbell or to the phone ringing, but how does this help someone in a food store? Er, well, the dog helps the owner make friends and become less isolated (even though the dog will have the 'Do not pat me, I'm working' harness on).

As for other disabilities, there is a militant wheelchair user near where I live who is never out unaccompanied but who still insists on taking his 'assistance dog' (not sure what it does) into food shops with him. The dog is legitimate issue but as he always has at least two people with him it doesn't actually do anything.

And as for those assistance dogs that are pictured getting the washing out of the washing machine (and the donations rolling in), I have always wondered who sorts the washing, who puts the powder and fabric conditioner into the machine, who puts the washing into the machine and drier and who hangs it up. And if the owner does it, why can't they get the washing out of the machine?

Guide dogs for blind people, yes, but no other dogs should be allowed in shops. None at all.

    3. Agreed, even the disabled are misusing 'servus' dawgz. They can rig lights to go off to alert deaf people to phones and doorbells. The wheelchair bound can get a long stick with pincher ends to pick up things they drop. If there is something else that can be used in place of the dog, it SHOULD be used in place of the dog. I'll only cut the blind a break on that.

  5. I'm hard of hearing. And, guess what, I can do perfectly well without a dog. I have my phone set to vibrate and can feel that just fine when the phone's on a table. If the phone's somewhere else, well, the caller can leave a message and I can put the phone on speaker so I can hear what is said. As for the doorbell, I don't have one. But I sure can hear it when people bang on the door.

  6. Face it everything and everywhere is contaminated by dog dander, piss and feces now. Collective morons with their comfort dogs abuse the ADA rules and take their four legged parasite with them everywhere. Stores and even restaurants have given up. I got up and MOVED when the idiot with the pit bull sat down behind us , yes while everyone else was cooing I took my plate and moved. Freaking thing was laying in the middle of the floor.
And yet...I have for whatever reason seen a half dozen blind people this month and not one of them had a dog. they either had a human helping or some of the new technology that lets them be mobile without being encumbered by a dog.
on the good news front my idiot SIL/BIL/MIL/FIL seem to have gotten the message there will be no more tolerance with dogs or their yammering. This is the longest period of normal living we've had in 25 years.

  9. Delta is changing their rules on flying with fake ass emotional support animals after that poor guy got bit in the face. How about just ending 'emotional support' dogs since this is nothing more than people who feel good about dragging their PET everywhere? The real disabled aren't the ones dragging fake servus pit bulls around. http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/19/news/companies/delta-service-animals/index.html
